The sensor at the trans is the VSS. The EDF is the Electro Drive Fan it turns the low speed fan on and off, the EDF relay is part of the IRCM. What ECU are you using ?

no light, just wasn't sure if any of these codes would put it in limp mode. so i was just trying to eliminate them. one prob is that it seems to run better some days than others. some time it pulls hard in third and some it falls flat.

Just checking because I also run a LA3 and I have those codes as well. I don't use the VSS and or factory boost controller and I have no real issues. My fan runs through the factory mustang wiring and I don't use the IRCM. Those codes are typical swap codes.

You either make an adapter plate for the stock 2.3 TPS or run the 95 5.0 TPS. It will hit the egr bump on some intakes though so in that case, I believe there is an Escort TPS that bolts onto the TB and points up instead of to the side when bolted on.

I run a Tempo TPS but I don't have an EGR bump. You will also need to splice a TPS plug into the harness as it is different that the factory 2.3 TPS plug. Also some of the 3.8 and 3.0 V6 used a 90 degree TPS also

ya i made a plate and it allowed it to move, so i tried to run the 95 one and it would not work because the throttle would not turn it till it was half open. so i made a better plate and prob solved. is it wrong that mine seems to run better at .96 than .94 and some old 5.0 books say to set it ats close to.99 as you can. what does this have to do with the way it runs. i thought it was just for better response.

We typically say to set them in the .90-.95 range so I'm not surprised at all.
