Ok so my paps told me to get on here and ask you gents a question. I have a 7mge 88 surpa n/A and I have been doing some research and what I found is that it is possible to turbo the motor, so my paps and I are trying to figure the best way of going about it. Your thoughts?

I hope this is a correct post for this thread. Couple questions. How much power are the 4 cylinder t5 trans holding before breaking shafts or gears? And same for the 7.5 rear ends. Also I was looking at the 5.0 flywheel and bell housing adapter and was wondering if you have to use the 5.0 transmission? Or just the bellhousing bolted onto the 4 cylinder trans? From what I've read the input shafts are different diameters and slightly different lengths. The answer to the first questions really defines whether the last was worth asking.

425+hp if you don't miss shifts.
Maybe 250hp on the 7.5 if you're using slicks. With street tires it handles more since the tires go up in smoke before enough torque is put on the gears/axles to break.
You can use a 4 cyl trans with the adapter stuff.

Hey all! So I've almost finished my 2.3 turbo swap into my '92 4wd ranger. But I'm stumped on coolant hoses. The truck has had two motors in its past (2.9l 4.0l) and it has a newer single core radiator (top passenger, lower driver) I can NOT source a radiator hose even close to fitting. I've even stooped as low as the flex hoses with no luck. Does anyone have a part number for up and more importantly the lower hose?

This thread is not for asking questions.
Without knowing what radiator is on it it's impossible to say what hoses it needs. With that said, 92 Rangers were offered with 2.3's in them so the stock hoses for that application and a 2.3 ranger radiator is a direct fit.
