I down loaded link. It gives me three options; Modify existing driver, Repair existing driver, Erase existing driver . I have tried all three and still am not able to connect with the MS (after deleting, i reinstalled driver).

And the "!" remained throughout all the installs when viewing in the device manager? I'm asking because not being able to communicate with the MS isn't a valid test of a working driver.

Also, is your USB cable silver with clear blue ends?

It is clear with green ends. In side the cable looks like braided fuel line, if that helps.

Sounds like the prolific cable which uses that driver posted above.

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes the "!" is still there through all of this. What other options do you think i schould try.

The best option would be if you have someone that has an above average knowledge with computers. I think I could get it working within 30 minutes if I had it sitting in front of me.
Otherwise I'm running out of suggestions as you've done everything it should take to get it working. It's probably just something small that's screwing it up.

Just for Shidzz and giggles, could you video your self going step by step, starting at the very beginning. Down loading the driver and every thing that i would need to do on my end. If that doesn't work ( me copying what you do), I will take my computer to Best Buy and talk to the Geek Squad. I'm afraid they are going to try to gig me though. . . . Or i could fly up there and challenge you to your 30 min fix.

Unfortunately I don't think I can do that. Geek Squad may be the best bet, they should be able to figure it out.
