No, I actually killed a rod bearing on the dyno. The bearing had been "sketchy" for a while but since it was the stock engine, I kept pushing it until it finally failed.
The new engine will have Crower rods, .020" over CP pistons/rings, and possibly a partial fill.

Yeah don't we all actually I never came close to pushing line lol. When you build a bottom end are you going to bump the compression up some since your running an aluminum head?

Not really, it will still be around 8:1. It might end up slightly higher like 8.3:1 after the block is decked and such but that's not anything I'm "trying" to do. Since this is a 91 octane engine, I need the compression low to maximize power potential on pump gas.
