You won't be able to send the pic in a PM either...you'll need to email it or upload it to a photo host like photobucket.

i have been building motors since i was 10 years old and have been building race motors for about 20 years. the computer stuff is new to me, i have been messing around with it for about 6 years with the edelbrock proflow system, and a little with f.a.s.t. I'm no dummy but I'm not even close to you in knowledge. this is my sons car and he's the rocket scientist when it comes to computers!

Our final prototype tester should have the ecu next week. Once he has positive results, it will take 3 weeks to get the final board design manufactured and shipped to us. Then it's ready to sell as soon as we get a few assembled.

How will the PIMP differ from other preassembled units on the market ? will it come with a base tune , and will this base tune just be one generic tune / one size fits all to get it to run, or perhaps geared to the customers needs / mods ?

The first difference is this isn't a "preassembled unit" from the standpoint that it's not a DIY MS kit that we assemble for you. Our ecu is using a custom adapter board that is made for our particular ecu's and not available elsewhere. It eliminates the mess of wires and hot glue commonly found in other MS kits and makes it like an OEM ecu internally, increasing durability and reliability.
We will have a few different 2.3T base tunes...stockish, highly modded (bo stg 3 head/cam, 75lb inj, etc.), and something in between. The intent is for the base tune to start/run and be driveable enough be able to use the "auto tune" feature to further dial in the tune while you drive around.

The holiday delayed the prototype tester a bit. No "date" until he's got it up and running.
