OK, that boost response is WAY late then...IHI's typically reach full boost by 2500 or so.

so i mustve done something wrong then i guess.... the car would build full boost by 2500 with the old cam in it but with this new one it doesnt..... now when it comes alive,,,, it really does lol

Well, the cam could be at least partially at fault. Cam timing, boost leaks, exhaust leaks, how the wastegate is hooked up, etc. all have an effect though.

well like i said the cam is a monster.... not as big as some of the others ive seen or heard but pretty big.....270 deg @ .050, 450 lift @ .050..... think it might be on 112 or 114 i would have to send it out and have it measured exactly but thats what the rear of cam said on it... valves on the intake are 4mm oversized. heads been machined for double springs.. intake and exhaust are manley valves..... idk where too go next really.. im almsot positive i dont have boost leaks and not real sure on how wastegate is hooked up... i can prolly look on all data for diagram of it im sure

Those specs don't really make sense...are you sure they are @.050 numbers and not advertised? Those specs would most certainly require solid HLA's. Is this head running hydraulic or solid HLA's?
