That's with the spout in (well out to set it, then plugged back in after I was done). But like I said, I don't trust the timing light or the timing marks, that's just where it ran the best.

So it reads 20 degrees after you put the spout in (at idle) or you are measuring the total advance at WOT somehow?

It's reading 20 with the spout out, then I plug it back in. I've never thought to check it with the spout back in. I don't have a way to check total timing at WOT.

I'd definitely say your timing marks aren't accurate then if that's the case!

The numbers are all rubbed off. The lines are still there. What's the notch, 10* or TDC?

Notch is TDC and each mark is 2 degrees.

Hmm, I'll have to check it again then. I'd really like to get one of those MC Machine billet timing pointer, that would take the pointer out of the equation.
