Recently installed a new t3-t4 50 trim hybrid turbo, and painted the car satin black.
It runs 20lbs of boost in the streets. Has mods for approx. 275-300rwhp and runs great.
Thanks Shanon!

Thanks Carl. It is still a work in progress.
I need a SVO gas tank because they have an intank fuel pump.
I bought a Walbro 255 inline fuel pump, but it alone didn't work good.
The car is set at 20psi for street driving though. I rarely drive it now. Gas is crazy, as you know.

what do you mean the inline pump alone didnt work good?

The 84 turbo mustang have an external(inline) fuel pump.
The Walbro GSL392 external fuel pump had a max fuel flow of 60psi, which was no good for me. My idle fuel pressure is 40 psi. The external walbro couldn't support my boost.
Thus I believe a intake fuel pump, which is on SVO and 5.0 mustangs would allow me to get a Walbro with more max psi pressure.

isnt the flow rate on in line and in tank the same?? There are lots of people making lots more power than what you are on the in line walbros.... You never answered my question of what you meant by "not working good". All i was hinting at is if you were having problems with it not getting fuel, i highly doubt the pump was the problem

There are two versions of the Walbro 255lph pump, a normal and a high pressure version. The normal one maxes out at 60psi (good for n/a engines or mild boosted engine) and the high pressure version is good for 90psi or so and is for high boost engines. I'm not sure they sell a high pressure inline version (hence the issues noted above).

GSL392 IS in fact a high pressure pump (from what i am seeing) I'm finding conflicting info on whether the GSS(GSL)-392 is high pressure or not. I know for sure the GSS-340, 341, and 342 are all the high pressure variant (in-tank). [EDIT] Looks like this site confirms the GSL-392 is a high pressure pump: www.autoperformanceengineering.com/html/ext_pump.htmlIn that case, the original poster needs to figure out what exact fuel pump part number he has, as well as whether it's a Walbro or a Chinese copy (which will also say walbro on the body of the pump).

and i still didnt see any issues noted for that matter lol I'm not sure what you mean here. IF he's got a low pressure (60psi max) pump and he's running 40psi base pressure and trying to run over 20psi, he'll exceed the max fuel pressure rating of the pump.

I bought the walbro about 1 yr ago. The one I bought turned out to be a low pressure version.
Through advice from Shanon...I know what to do about a high-po fuel pump when I'm ready.
The pump on my car at the time was and is a 190lph 80 max, and it does the job for now.
The car has: 35lb inject, big vam, LA2 ecu. Mildly prted head, ported upper and lwer intake. Ranger roller cam with adjustable cam gear set -2. Ported E-6 exhaust manfld. 3" exhaust. Front mount intercooler.
I'm not an expert, but this car has been in progress for some time. I've gotten my advice from Shanon.
I've just started posting on the forum.

I've also contacted the resource that Shanon uses regarded a external Walbro. That resource stated his GSL392 had 60 max psi(low pressure). And he didn't have a high pressure in-line(at that time), but the intank high pressure pump was available.
Just saying, I don't know eveything, but I've been on this vehicle for some time.
