My car is a 93 coupe 2.3 swap new motor just got it running . I'm new to tuning and I have learned a lot by ,messing around with the car . I have seen my manifold glowing after a 10 min drives the trimming is set at 20* I haven't been in the boost only to 10 psi fuel set at 40psi coolant temp is at 160 the car seems fine it just gets super hot and glows ! what causes this? Or is this normal , does this mean it's Lean

Could be lean, could be rich, could be too much timing, could be just flat out hot. I assume you have a wideband if you're tuning an MS2 so what does it say? Is it a mild glow or bright orange? Have you verified commanded timing = actual timing?

It's glowing enough that in the shade you can see the glow at night of course it seems a lot brighter . Another issue I have is that the lc-1 is set 14.7 but it's al over the place most of the time . Im going to drive it in a bit and I'll have a better # of where it's at .what about the timeing should I go 18* or 20* my ms2 doesn't have the timing command due to something in the wiring of the car so I have to run it with the spout out and lock the timing down on the distributor . Any help is apperciated

OK, so you need to get timing control fixed (locked timing needs to stay in the 60's), you need to fix your fuel map so your afr is consistent, not all over the place (that's a sign of a horrible tune), and then we can work out what else may be wrong after that. 20 degrees timing locked is probably ok at 10psi but it's too much at 15+psi on pump gas.
The tuning guides at the top of this section of the forum will help you tune your fuel map so it's not all over the place.

Where did the MS2 come from? Are you sure it's not setup for direct coil control?

He typically sets them up for direct coil control (which requires a few wiring changes related to the TFI/Spout. I'd suggest asking him if it's direct coil control and if so, how to wire it. If not, he didn't build it right if it won't work with stock wiring.
