I finally got a chance to get my car to the track. I have 3 cars so i have to juggle between them all. Combo is pretty basic. Stock short block with re ring kit, home ported head stock valves, boport 1.5 cam, E6, hy35 on 30psi, water injection. Car has a 3.55 gear with a 4 cyl t5. MS2 with 72lb injectors. Best time of the night was a 7.72 at 91mph, 1.66 60'. i was hoping for 7.90's, so i was pumped to see it go 7.72.

Just for comparison I sprayed my stock headed daily driver with a 70 shot to run very similar times. Great Runs!

I think i can get a little more out of it. I have a tubular kmember and lower control arms for it. I have been hesitant to put it all on, im not sure how it will effect street driving. I really dont hit any corner to hard. But i dont know how that stuff would hold up to regular street duty. But i bet that stuff would lighten it by around 70lbs or so. I also need to perfect the tune. I need to strap it back to the dyno for fine tuning.

I always thought that most tubular Kmembers were stronger than the stamped steel factory parts. I have a UPR chromoly Kmember and A arms on my car and used to drive it daily in Houston, drive it sparingly now with zero issues.

I don't know what brand my stuff is. But it all looks to be in good shape. I think I'm going to go ahead and put it all on there. I had a professional welder loom at all the welds and he didn't see anything wrong. I may get another tenth or two by changing that stuff, it should lighten it and help the 60' a little
