Thanks Stinger for the info on rotating the turbo. It looks like time and money are going to delay me installing a front mount for now. Well we finally perfected our tool, it ain't pretty but it fits and will do the job. I'll post a pic of this beaut when I get back on my laptop. (ain't figured out how to resize my pics while posting with my phone). I've ran into what I think is an odd problem. The air hose tool adaptor that I bought to thread into the spark plug hole so I can hook air up to keep the valves closed does not thread into the spark plug hole. Either the 2.3 spark plugs are something other than the 14mm size or the hole is too deep and the tool is hitting on the cyl head just before reaching the threads good enough to start. Anybody else run into this? My F-I-L suggest buying a nonfouler adapter to thread into the hole and then thread the tool into that. Whadda ya think?

Should be 18mm, not 14mm. A nonfouler will help once you get the right sized threaded fitting.

Will the KD 2400 tool work or does it have to be the 3087? Thanks

2400 should work, it's the same as the 3087 only the handle isn't adjustable. Whether you "need" the be able to adjust the handle is questionable. I'd imagine if something like the brake booster gets in the way of the handle would be the only reason.
