My car has been running almost perfect but I have a new problem. When I start my car when its cold I can not touch the throttle or it surges and either smooth out or die. sounds like its not firing right. never had this problem before i always hold the rpms up when cold because my iac is a pos. once the car is above 120-130F it runs great . I swapped distributors today with no change. here is a log of it. I also have another log that has a spot in it where the rpm goes crazy for a sec while driving. ive had this random issue for months now and finally caught it on a datalog. i updated to 3.2.4 today and tried a old tune with the same results. another note is when watching the trigger logger when it starts missing blanks out and goes crazy!

You didn't post the log.
What ignition setup?

Looks like both logs are above 140 degrees coolant temp so they don't show the "cold throttle input" issue. I did see some times you floored it and it went full lean for a split second (probably causing a hesitation) but the coolant temp was over 165 by that point.
The first log has a very jumpy rpm signal throughout, the second is smooth except for the "glitch" you mentioned. Seems like your crank trigger settings may not be "perfect" and are causing some issues in that area.

Do you have any noise filtering in effect?

You'll need to apply some filtering to see if you can fix the glitch. I'm not sure what settings to try though. I'll see if I can get Wes in here...

Hold 3000 RPM steady and take a composite log for about 3 seconds and post the results and .msq being used. Preferably, there would be no "glitch" during the composite log. Once you post the composite log and msq, Wes will take a look and provide the info needed to try to fix the issue.
To take a composite log in TS, you select the "Diagnostics" tab, select "Composite Logger" from the drop down menu, make sure "Capture Log To File" is checked, bring it up to ~3000rpm steady, hit "Start", count to 3, hit "Stop".
