What size are the studs and nuts on a stock t3 exhaust elbow? Are they metric or standard?

After much research and time at the hardware store the size of the turbo elbow stud nuts are 7/16-14. Just in case anyone wants to replace the old rusted ones.

I've had my engine and turbo completely disassembled and I didn't come across a single sae fastener on it. Mine is a 85 out of a merkur but I don't think the svo and turbocoupes used sae on the engine either. a 7/16-14 is pretty close in size to a m12 though I used the kit from autozone I posted above and it matched the old studs I took out

Yeah, I thought all bolts were metric. I have an 85 and an 88 turbo elbow. I took both with me to the fastenal store. The m12 nut slide down both studs and the m10 nut would not start. The 7/16-14 was the only one that fit. I figured the previous owner could have swapped the studs but not on two different year elbows.

Yeah that is weird. I guess its possible ford made some with standard threads. I've ran into a few 302s that had both standard and metric fasteners

I believe they are 11mm x 1.75 pitch on the downpipe side napa #600-6234 exhaust stud kit. They threaded directly into the exhaust housing. But they gave me the incorrect size nuts. I have an original 4 bolt ihi housing and 5 bolt T3T4 / T3 exhaust housing with nuts if someone needed them.
