I was having issues last night with my car wanting to die when accelerating. I found out my tps was loose and moving around. I tightened it and recalibrated it in TS. With the car key on engine off I can do a nice smooth sweep in ts (tps gauge) when the car is running the tps is not smooth and seems like it is behind. Say I have the pedal at 20% engine off, engine on it says about 8%. new tps in order?

Good possibility a new one is needed, if it is still running bad.

For some reason when I try to hold the car at 2k it misses. the injectors stop for a split second. here is a log. also does throughout the rpm range. car ran perfect yesterday, removed dipstick last night to fix it and today it runs like nuts again. wiring issue maybe?

Looks like a sync loss is causing it. That could be caused by a bad PIP, bad wiring going to the PIP, etc.

How do I check the wiring? when i hook a meter to the pip and the ign gnd (connector for the tfi unplugged from module) I get 9.0V that right?

The problem is wiring issues that are intermittent can't easily be checked by standard methods. Ford actually has a "wiggle test" where you are supposed to wiggle the harness in different areas while the engine is running to see if it ever makes it sputter or die.
The PIP is a more likely culprit IF it's not something weird going on in the ECU.

The car ran perfect then I noticed oil all over and seen my dipstick was not in the block. I removed it, moving the wiring harness around to pull it out. then it runs bad, and now it wont run at all (no rpm in ts) could faulty wiring damage the MS or tfi? or should I just try new wiring?

I messed with it today and found the following. Pip is showing 11v then 0 when cranking over by hand. cranking the car with the starter it drops to 4v.

I'd be tempted to send the ECU in for testing. Don't let him talk you into "upgrading" though...

I finally figured it after rewiring the two power wires and the pip and gnd to the dizzy. I get rpm with my battery fully charged for the first crank then it tapers off. I put my battery charger on "start" mode and it cranks ultra fast and has no sync loss. Brand new battery and 3g alt. all main power wires have been replaced with 4ga the only original wire is from the solenoid to the starter. battery was also tested, 478CCA, the last couple yeasrs ive noticed my car runs like crap once it starts getting cold out.

What's the voltage drop to while cranking (as read in Tunerstudio)?

9v cold cranking, after I get it started with the battery starter and let it warm up for a couple min it will fire up on its own. its about 9.9-10v cranking with the battery starter.

That's too low...you've either got a bad wire/connection or some other failure that's causing the low voltage.
