Been running around on a hacked up 3" dp and dynomax ultraflows with dumps for a long time. Got some extra cash so I finally ponied up and got the stainless tails 2.5". I used these along with the torctite style clamps which are the only way to do it IMO. Finish was not too shabby and can be made mirror-like with some elbow grease. I did these on a lift to make life easier.
They leave you with at least like 5 or 6"s leftover to cut. Because every car is a little different it makes the most sense.
Sadly I have seen people drive around with tails this long lmao...
Originally this is how I had it mounted
I know the clamps are ugly..I was sick that day and wasnt thinking. A good friend called me out on it and I welded some universal mounts to them. I used my stock hanger bolts and location.
Got these and ditched the U Bolt clamp tack welded it to the tails...

Much better...
I cut them closely to the bumper on a slight angle with a sawzall while on the car..not recommended..use a chop saw with a metal blade!
Overall they fit well this is not a cookie cutter product you will have to trim and modify to fit your exact application. Oh yeah if you want to be official get a set of LX tailpipe hangers and weld a bent rod on each tail.

The sound is way better actually has some uniqueness to it now instead of just noise.
