I just finished a re-wire of my engine bay due to an engine bay fire. My current tune is what was used in the car before the fire, and the car ran well. Now the Car idles well, sounds good, but when i hit throttle it goes very lean and tries to die. nearly impossible to drive. If i let autotune attempt to correct the ve table i get some extremely high numbers. I have not tried run it with these numbers as it was looking to double or triple some of my current ve numbers. My old tune was for 72lb injectors, however i did change the req fuel accordingly for the 75lb. tune and a datalog showing my issues is below Mods are as follows: 2.3t, hy35, 1.5 cam, ms2extra - not wilson, beanman header, fmic, bov, w inj, 75lb 17113742 delphi injectors Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Can you post the previous tune that ran well before the fire and before you made injector changes or anything?
Have you checked fuel pressure under load? It looks like it's trying (when using VE Analyze) to make a VE table similar to when the fuel pump isn't holding proper pressure.

Here's the last tune from before the fire. I don't currently have a way to test fuel pressure under load but i can get one. FPR is a new Aeromotive fyi and fuel pressure is set to 42 psi at idle, with vacuum Attachment Deleted

I'll look at the file later.
Why is fuel pressure so high? 42psi with vacuum is like 50+ base fuel pressure (no vacuum) which will make those 75lb injectors flow over 80lb.

i honestly cant remember but i thought i had it set on 40-42 with vacuum in the past. What psi do you reccomend with vac?

You set it to 43 psi with the vacuum hose off. You never set it with the hose attached since vacuum can vary which changes the fuel pressure.

ok. Fuel pressure is 43psi with vacuum line off. Still runs terrible so i pulled plugs. plugs are white/lean looking. Fuel pressure stays steady while revving engine - this is in my garage sitting still, no load. So i went and drove it and let autotune make adjustments. Attached is the new tune it made as well as a datalog of the run. The new tune takes affect about halfway through the log, but I can't say it made a difference. Still can't get over 30-40 mph. FYI - Before the rebuild my tune was for the 72lb Trick Flow injectors i had. And thats the tune i started with, new injectors are delphi 75lb. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

after more reading, i slowly raised the pwm current limit to 55 and the time threshold to 1.2. Big Difference. Car runs and drives now, still a little rough but it will make boost and accelerate.
i'm running ms2 extra on a 3.0 board, and i see where it is reccomended to not go over 70% pwm current limit. And 30 is the default starting point. So I assume 55 is not too high and i can begin tuning the VE table.
Can anyone confirm this?
