Well here it is, this is my 1983 Mustang GT Turbo! its a bit on the rough side.. I picked this baby up when I was only 14 years old from my brother in law, he told me that I could have the car for free cause it didnt run ever since he drove over a set of train tracks. luckily for me I had a similar problem with a 92 mustang with a 2.3L and the issue was the auxiliary shaft. The gear had stripped out and would not allow the car to start. Here is the shaft I am referring to, I may not be calling it the right thing, going off of google lol after quickly swapping out this shaft the old girl fired right up on the old gas that had sat in the car for over 6 years , the tank was completely full and at the time I was 14 and unaware that the car may have had a drain on the gas tank. Sadly after doing everything to it I discovered the car would need an out of province inspection, which where I live is very hard to pass. So the car car has yet again for 10 years getting no love. However recently I have found a site that offers everything I need to restore my mustang and get it back to its former glory. So with out further ado, here is my mustang! Its hard to tell from the pics, but this car has glass T-Tops.

Looks like a good starting point. That's on odd rust location and pattern by the rear wheel.

Yea the car used to be in a place that gets lots of salt put on the roads, we do too but not nearly how much is used there. sadly its so bad that I will have to get new rear quarters for both sides, new doors as the bottoms are completely gone and when you shut the door you and hear it wobbling and flexing, new floor board as it has holes, and because im doing all of that im just going to change the front fenders. the car will basically be all new metal. What I find weird is the rust in the motor bay, I have never seen it like that before.

Yeah, salt is nasty...they lay down quite a bit of it here.
The rust on the pulleys, struts, etc. is pretty expected for an engine that has been the victim of condensation for 10+ years.

not quite what I meant, I was more reffering to the rust on the firewall and sourounding areas. Strut towers usually do get rusty I agree.
