Yes, it really hurts performance, it's not a lie.
The Magnaflow doesn't have as much offset width (they don't offer one with as much offset as the Dynomax & Flowmaster) so tailpipe fitment between the stock control arms is tight. If you've got aftermarket control arms it's not really an issue.
You never did say what Dynomax recording you're talking about not liking the sound of. I'll say one last time that they all basically sound the same which means there is only 1 muffler that has the best fit and flow.

No gasket is used on the elbow.
Return line comes with a gasket.

For the pipe threads you said to use Teflon paste. Will these work? Loctite thread sealant or permatex thread sealant with teflon?
For the five bolt discharge flange with internal Wastegate you said no gasket? Do you recommend any sealant so exhaust doesn't leak?
Also I got three tracking numbers from you. One shipped and other two say pre shipping. Are they being shipped together? Or just delayed? 9405809699937767131634 Elbow pre shipment, 9405809699937767131634 pre shipment, 1Z942YW90396599277 shipped.. the last two tracking numbers say the same items according to PayPal.

Yes, the permatex stuff is correct.
The 3 shipments are the elbow, exhaust, and muffler. They are shipping as they are ready. The tracking number is created when the label is printed, not when the item is dropped off.

Wanted to thank you for the parts. They look good...
I'm interested in the V band you sell. Does it have a ridge to center the pipes? Or do you have to manually center pipes before clamping?

It doesn't have a ridge but if you simply slide the pipe far enough into the flange so it sticks out the other side, it acts as the centering ridge.

Where do you recommended installing hangers/support on your exhaust system in 1988 turbo coupe. Certain style I should buy or just some homemade hangers? I have your elbow, down, midepipe and dynomax muffler. Drivers side install.
Products look great so far. Will be getting your fmic kit for sure!

Stock location at the rear of the muffler, end of tailpipe, and if you have a cat, at the trans crossmember (optional otherwise). You can cut them off the stock exhaust and weld onto new exhaust, or weld on aftermarket hangers, or use clamp on hangers (these don't look good on the tailpipe).

Having issues with down pipe version 2 and midepipe drivers side for turbo coupe. My down pipe is about 8 inch short of cross member and the midepipe is maybe two inches away from drive line. Please send pictures tips help.

The downpipe has a ton of adjustment where it connects to the turbo. That's what dictates midpipe location. So you don't tighten downpipe until everything is connected and aligned where you want it.

Down pipe was loose so it could be rotated.. down pipe is short or the Z bend is in wrong locating. Z bend hits crossmember no matter were down pipe is rotated.
