So I put back the hi flow cat the other day and I ended up finding the two studs coming of turbo elbow are all rusted and one broke while taking of. So my question is how hard is it to get out the old studs. I assume I can take the elbow of turbo in place without taking turbo out? Also how hard is it to get these studs out. I imagine I would have to heat it up and use a pair of vise grips or similar. Any advice before I attempt this would be great. Also I using the three inch stinger down pipe and I never did get it to seal perfectly without a very minor leak .. so while in progress of doing this is there a rtv silicone that would handle this temperture I can put around connection before I connect down pipe back to turbo down elbow. Thanks

They are very likely nearly impossible to remove if they are that rusty. They are the same size as the stock V8 headers use so they are easy to purchase.
Removing the elbow from the turbo will typically result in at least half of those bolts breaking as well.
Typically it's a pitted elbow that causes the leak. In that case they make an exhaust cement that gets rock hard when it heats the first time.
