I am looking to buy a plugin play CPU for my 95 Mustang GT. I was referred to you through one of the 94-95 specific Facebook sites. I have a basic set up right now just a stock bottom end with GT40 heads 1.7 roller rockers Cobra intake,24 pound injectors, stock Cam,stock MAF. My end goal is a stock bottom end on 3 Turbo kit making around 400 hp. This isn't going to be a drag car by any means. It's just gonna be a weekly or by weekly driven (depending on the weather) street car. I know I'll have to do some upgrades on the fuel side when the turbo goes on but for now the combo mentioned above is what I'm running with. All that to say what do I need from you guys? I want to make sure i get everything i need to make the current and future setup work.

You've got a factory sequential application so you need the PiMPxs version to retain sequential fuel injection. You need the selection with software license for $945.
As for other stuff, you only need what's listed as required on the site listing:
Requires: -Windows 95 or Newer Laptop w/Standard USB Port -Wideband o2 Sensor Controller with Analog Output (See Spartan2 Wideband Controller Below) -Factory Ford Wiring Harness for your Ford vehicle (or purchase new custom PiMP Harness Below) -ACT Sensor for vehicles not factory equipped (Yours already has one) -VSS Sensor for vehicles not factory equipped (optional, required if you want to use speed-based features, yours already has one)
When the turbo setup goes on, you can add our boost control solenoid if you want the ECU to control boost pressure. We sell injectors and fuel pumps as well if interested.

I have the Inovate MTXL that should work right? Do I need to purchase any software with the PIMPxs or does it come with it? Oh, and thanks for the quick response.

In the order from section I should just select v8 no boost stock cam. Will I have to do something down the line when I put the turbo on? Or is that just so you can get the base tune as close as possible?

It's just for the base tune. We can send two base tunes if we know what cam the turbo setup will use as well.

Ok that's what I was thinking. I'm like 90% sure I'm gonna keep the stock cam even for the turbo setup.

You mentioned it is a 94-95 car. Don't forget their are a few pins you have to move around to be compatible with our a9l style pinout. They are not really any different than an a9l swap, but the specific ones are in the "FAQ" thread at the top of the PIMPX support forum.
While we can send you base files, if the addition of the turbo and larger injectors are only planned changes at the time, you likely would be better off keeping your already tuned file, and making the small changes required for boost. We can help you with that when the time comes.

Sorry I just saw this. Yes I was informed about the pinout. I was wondering if the stock 94 electric fan will still work with the pinout though. In reality the turbo won't happen until this winter. It was eather engine managment or turbo. I decided engine managment.

Yes, the fan can be controlled by the ECU.

I am looking to buy a stand alone ecu for my 94 mustang the thing is I am installing a new blueprint 400hp 347 stroker crate engine and would like to know if i can order it with a base turn already for my engine specs? I plan to pay a tuner shop to help me tune it but I will need to get it close enough to drive to the shop.. any advice would be great this is my first leap into mutiport efi tuning.. this will be replacing the factory ecu and bama programmer in witch did nothing much for my car.. although I did by the tuner used . Thanks

The ECU always comes with a base tune for your setup (which is why the site has all of the drop down menu's for your mods) that should get you driving without much modification (not under power, just cruising) as long as you follow the directions exactly as written. If you don't follow directions then you'll have all sorts of problems.
