Does it not do anything at all (like it's not even turning on) or does it just not build boost?
Cut X from Y: Start with cut 5 from 7. Always cut an odd from an odd. If it will not hold your target rpm, go up on number (7 from 9 would be next).

so im trying 4500 rpm, enable tps above 10% and cutting spark at 5 and 7. not sure where a safe place to start with retard to (deg)is. ive had it at 0 and when its holding at 4500 rpm it almost comes up to boost. should i up the rpm or take more timing?

You can't go below base timing with TFI so setting it to zero is still getting you 10 deg. Going farther won't change anything.
My reply above from July 23rd said what would be next to try.
You can try more RPM as well if you want, that's normally enough but if you've got a big turbo it may not be.

Even a simple fuel cut with no spark cut will build boost without much issue so it shouldn't be this difficult. I'd suspect there are problems elsewhere, I'm just not sure what problems would cause this issue.

How long are you staying in it once it's activated and at the rpm target?

Only about 5 seconds when I changed it to 7 and 9 the rpm creeps up slowly. I've been playing with the settings and dont want to hold it to long if it's not the proper setup. I dont really need to use launch control I'm just trying to learn how to use althe features of ms.
