I am about to install a Spec Stage 2+ clutch in my car this weekend. I have never replaced a clutch before so this is first for me. I watched LMR’s video on replacing the clutch on the foxbody mustangs and it seems pretty straightforward except the fact that my 88 Thunderbird has the hydraulic clutch. So I guess the question is what’s the difference in the install? And are there any other components I should replace while I’m in there? Right now I know I’m going to replace the pilot bearing and the rear main seal but is there anything else?

That's pretty much it. Make sure you fix anything that leaks oil back there including the valve cover gasket if it's leaking down the top of the bellhousing.
I've never messed with an 87-88 TC hydro clutch but I know my Ranger had one and it required a special tool to remove the line that goes to the throwout bearing.
