Looking for suggestions/advice on new cam selection. So found the stock ish 8 y/o cam had severely worn the sliders and lobes on #2 and #4 cyls. Near as I can tell it was hyd. lifter failure. No other obvious damage. So I am trying to decide the best cam for my set up. 85 SVO motor, stock bore and stroke. Mildly ported stock head with 2.02 valves. Stock injectors, 255lph in tank, Stinger header with t3/t4 .50ar, Pimp(original), MSD 6AL, Stinger 3" down pipe, 3" all the way out, Stinger blow off, air to air inter cooled, Esslinger cam gear. Stock trans, 3.27 8.8 gear in a full interior 91 GT body. I would prefer a roller, but seems hard to find any performance ones. I plan on new valve springs at the same time, so suggestions on those would be welcome too. Reliability is the primary concern, this is a daily driver for a college student.

If you want an easy "drop in" cam that doesn't require you to remove the head and have it machined, I'd look at the Boport 1.1 and 1.5 cam kits.
