basically have a misfire tracked it down to cylinder 2, did leak down test, found air coming out the exhaust valve, looked into it deeper, seems the valve is being held open a little by the rocker arm, tried diff lifters still doing the same thing, side note had it breaking up because lifters were holding the valves open, did all the springs and lifters any help appreciated , thanks again , joe

If one is being held open then the valve stem is too long, the HLA is too high, or there is some other weird geometry issue going on.
Stock cam?

Stock cam stock rockers , the rocker is slightly more warm then the intake rocker I took off , I changed the lifters but put the old on back in and it still holds it open , very strange

Also a thought but could the valve seat be worn or pushed into the head more ?

Well tried the old lifter same story tried intake rocker on exhaust valve same thing , looks like I’m pulling the head to get the full story , I’ll let your know what I find , thanks for the input though!

Leak it down with the slider out. If it stillleaks you have exhaust valve issue. Bent , or burned most likely. If it’s leAking just a little a small tap or to with a mallet might reseal it if it’s just a carbon build up or worn valve job
