Hey, this is my first time doing a turbo swap. I have a 93 mustang and I’m using an 87-88 turbo coupe engine. If I use the PiMPx ecu can I use the turbo block and turbo cylinder head with the 91-93 ignition system or does the cylinder head specifically have to be from the N/A engine?

You can, if you install the 91-93 DIS ignition components on the turbo block (crank trigger, DIS module, coil pack, etc.).
If you want to use the turbo distributor then you have to re-wire the harness for a distributor as outlined in our 91-93 turbo swap page.

Are there any performance benefits to using the turbo distributor over the 93 DIS ignition system?

No. The DIS is likely a little more accurate and the coil is a little more powerful.

I've purchased the PiMPx ECU and plan on using the original harness from the 93 mustang. Im a bit confused about how I should go about the distributor on the 88TC motor. Do I need to purchase a CAS TFI distributor conversion kit? if so which one in specific? Would I need the expansion/coil harness as well?

If you're using the original harness then you either install the DIS ignition "stuff" on the turbo engine (in which case you don't modify the harness at all, just follow the startup guide and DIS instructions in the guide), or you follow our turbo swap wiring in the tech articles of our main site to the DIS harness to convert it to distributor spec (no need to do the VAM portion since it's not used).

I decided to run the turbo distributor. My question is do I need a noise reduction capacitor?

It's best to keep it as close to how it's done stock as possible.

Am I able to use the stock fuel rail from my 93 mustang on the the 88 turbocoupe cylinder head? I am also wondering if I am able to use the mustang injector harness on the turbocoupe injectors.

No, rail is different.
If using the 93 harness (modified for distributor and such) then you use the 93 injector harness as well.
