I am doing a swap into a sand rail. Donor car is a 1988 Ford Thunderbird turbo coupe with an automatic trans and 8UA computer, car is complete. I will use an external electric fuel pump. I want to keep engine at stock power levels and am looking for the easiest way to eliminate ALL extras (EGR, VAM, Premium fuel switch, etc, etc). I just want an engine that runs well at the stock power levels it was built for. Any suggestions for the products required to make this happen? Thank you

You'd either be looking at the PiMPx ECU with a modified stock harness (eliminate all the crap you don't want) or our PM-65 harness or you'd be looking at our Microsquirt Plug & Play setup. The PiMPx is more capable but if you have no plans of anything beyond what you stated above, the Micro will do the job and is easier to make waterproof.

If I went with the Microsquirt, I would need the 525cc injectors, correct? Anything else that would be a necessary purchase to make it work?

It requires high impedance injectors and a wideband o2 sensor and controller (like our Spartan 2). Everything else is included. Premium Support is optional/add-on.
