I am very pleased with the quality of the coils that I received however the PCM I received had green scale built up in all the ground terminals that needed to be cleaned before it would power up. The distributor Eliminator cap that came did not fit on the distributor without further Machining also the quality of the pickup is not the greatest but it works. The flash drive did not contain nearly all the information I needed to get the truck started ( there was no information for setting up the new coils. Also there was no information on the distributor elimination) however I was able to find it all on the Stinger website. I ordered the expansion harness which did not come with my order. When I emailed my original customer service rep I got more argument than solution to begin with however all my problems were eventually solved however seeing as I paid $500 more for this control setup than I did for the truck I did expect more. I am very pleased with the capabilities of the hardware and the graphic user interface is extremely functional. I am excited to find more uses for the programmable inputs and outputs. The logical arguments are a big plus to me they are very easy to understand and use.

I'm sorry to hear you weren't completely satisfied with the process/products as we take customer support very seriously and try to excel in that area. The green scale is concerning and odd as we power up all of the ECU's to install firmware and test functionality prior to shipment so it's weird that it worked then but not when you got it. Which ground terminals in particular are you referring to, the ECU pins in the connector? We've never had a report of such a problem (you can search the forums for any mention of green scale) so we'd like to figure out the cause. Do you have any pics of what was required to be machined on the cap to make it work? Since this was an OBD-2 application (which none of these parts are made for) it's certainly possible for it to be different but either way I'd like to see what had to be machined. It's good that it did work after modification as opposed to not being possible to make it work at all. The pickup is a standard part used on tons of OE applications. I'm not sure what made the quality not the greatest? Looking through emails, there is discussion of how the question of OBD2 vs OBD1 was brought up on the phone and whether that happened wasn't agreed upon (this is another reason we like to use digital communication as everything is in writing to minimize confusion/disagreement). However, the expansion harness not being in the box went like this: You: My obd1 harness is complete however I never received an expansion connector to connect the new coils to the PCM. SP: So to confirm, you didn't receive this item? www.stinger-performance.com/store/expansion-harnessYou: Correct SP: OK, sorry about that. We'll get one of those out to you ASAP. You: Great, thank you. That seems to be about as easy as it could possibly be to get that issue resolved. Since you said above that you got more argument than solution and the only two things you asked about for which a solution is the answer was returning the products if we couldn't make it connect to OBD2 (which we responded to saying there is no solution to the OBD2 connection issue other than repinning it to an EEC-IV connector and providing you with links to our return policy and return address). So the only "argument" I can see in the emails is regarding who's fault it was that you got an ECU that doesn't work for OBD2 vehicles and it wasn't an argument, it was just two people remembering differently how the phone conversation went. Regardless, if you were offended by something that took place in the conversation then we're sorry for that. The flash drive is for the ECU only so it only contains info for the ECU. I'm sorry if it wasn't clear that the documentation for the other products was on our site and not something that was coming on the USB. Glad to hear now that it's all connected that you're impressed with the hardware, software, capabilities, etc.

Not sure how you Define argue however this is the dictionary version. ar·gue verb verb: argue; 3rd person present: argues; past tense: argued; past participle: argued; gerund or present participle: arguing 1. give reasons or cite evidence in support of an idea, action, or theory, typically with the aim of persuading others to share one's view. "“It stands to reason,” she argued".
You created the spot for feedback so I posted my feedback as I see it I'm not saying anything is bad I was giving you feedback not asking for your feedback on my feedback. Thanks, Steve

You can provide feedback, that's what this section is for. The goal of feedback is to use it to improve customer service/support or products. In order to do that, sometimes it requires clarification or additional details (like when I asked for more details on the green scale and machining). You didn't answer any of the questions asked though so we don't have the information needed to do so.

Please provide detail and pictures as to what machine work was required to make cap fit housing.
This was designed specifically for internal TFI distributors for 4 cylinder and v8, and has never failed to fit one of those applications in my hands. If a small modification expands fitment for other applications, we would like to know.
