This is a stock long block, Stinger header, holset, ect ect. Basically the same engine setup from the Bolt on car revisited in the white car. One big change was to go to the Spec 5.0 alum flywheel, Stage 3 clutch and lakewood blowproof bell. I hit it with a 70shot and on the very first try it went faster than the opening pass for the black car with a 100shot.
It will be exciting to work this combo out and see how much et can be knocked off.

vary nice. thats what i want mine to run on motor.. so i just should get nos. if yours want do it, i will do good to get 77mph

The 9.19 was a no spray, hard launch and pull through second and then part throttle in third to the end.

Nice vids and a few questions for you. How much boost? What were the 60' times? Why don't you just turn the boost up and not run the NOS?

35lb injectors with a vam and LA3 don't allow any more boost without going way lean...
Also keeping with the "daily driver" theme, you can make alot more power on pump gas with nitrous than boost on a "stockish" setup with limited airflow.

heres the actual timeslips and run down for each:
1st run 16psi, no spray, I gave a hard 1st and 2nd gear pull, super granny shift into 3rd and 3/4 throttle to the end. I have a superstition about breaking on the first pass and I was laughing because the 60' was so hard. If I had to guess I would say 8.85ish at 78 or so on a full pass at that point.
60' 1.8077 330 5.7466 594' 8.5794 1/8 9.1935 mph 73.27
2nd pass: 16psi, 70 shot turned on, full blast pass and a nice clean run all the way.
60' 1.6757 300' 4.9430 594' 7.1314 1/8 7.6234 mph 91.46
3rd was a 100shot and boost at 18psi. Both the 100 shot runs were just checking the AF. It was craaazy rich and reading 10.0 when I went through the lights on this run.
60' 1.7044 300' 5.0345 594' 7.2656 1/8 7.7648 mph 90.14
4th was a 100shot with 20psi. It was 10:55pm and starting to sprinkle. At the end of the track at 85 mph or so it started spinning so I lifted and then for the hell of it, snapped the throttle open for the last 30' or so. Thats why the mph was only 87

As the boost goes up the ability to use 93 octane pump starts to go out the window. Plus the fact that without the Boport head the spray helps a ton to make it come out of the hole harder. We left a pile on the table as tends to happen when you take a car thats not running at 11:30am and throw in an 8.5hr drive and try to be making passes by 9pm.
