That's good. Get the right injectors in there and get the VAM stuff worked out and let's see how it runs, and if timing is advancing yet.

Well the injectors took care of the running rich but I still have a 66 code, timing is not advancing and it still pops and backfires as soon as it tries to build any boost. Spout is putting out a 6v signal but timing doesn’t change. I have a 53 code now so I will need to calibrate the TPS when I get time. Ran out of time today to do anything else.

Spout should be 12v, not 6v.

Spout should put out 12v, not 6v. Okay, info I found online said 6v. So where and how does it generate the 12v? Does the 12v come from the ecu or is the 12v sent to the ecu? I have 12 v at the TFI module where it’s supposed to be.

Under what conditions are you measuring spout voltage? Key on/Engine Off? Running? Cranking?
If you set base timing to 20 degrees instead of 10 degrees in the meantime, it will be safer for the engine as it will make less heat, and will run better as it's closer to the "right" timing at idle and wide open throttle.

That's correct then.

I finally got it! Where I had to repin. The ECM I did not have the #43 wire for the VAM seated all the way. Running good now!

Good to hear! So timing is advancing now? If so, that means it was oreviously in "limp home" mode due to the lack of a VAM signal.
