i went to the dyno last night and had pleasing results. It put down 299.6hp/309ft lb to the wheels. The AFR stays between 11.5 and 12.2. The power drops off after about 5700rpm because it got so rich. I need to tune it some more in the higher rpm. I think there is more power there.

home ported and polished head, boport 1.5, 72lb injectors megaquirt from Wilson racing, holset hy35 mounted on an E6 that is home ported, ported inake, spearco front mount with 2.5 IC pipe, full 3in exhaust from turbo back with a thrush muffler. I was going to send you the data logs from the dyno pulls. Id like to get it leaned out past 5700rpm, i really think it will help it it.

Do you use TunerStudio or Megatune for tuning? You can send the datalogs but be sure to send the .msq and the firmware version as well.

Took my car to the track. On the low boost tune (18psi) it ran a 8.48 at 88 mph. I didn't have the gas to turn up the boost but I will next week. The sixty coot was decent at 1.76. The big tune up (26psi) should bring it down quite a bit

I have watched several videos of the black stinger bolt on car. What is being used for suspension on it? I would really like to get my car to pull wheels, or at least one wheel. Ive obviously got the power, but im not sure what to do with the suspension. It is hooking so good im kind of affraid to mess with it. The front comes up now, but the rear doesnt squat at all.

The Bolt-On car rear suspension was basically just stock style with an airbag in the passenger side. Front was worn out Koni struts and a tubular k-member. It's best 60ft was a 1.52 I believe and was typically 1.57-1.60.

Ive been considering a tubular k member. I think im going to go with the UPR kit that comes with k member, lower ctrl arms, and a coil over kit. I couldnt find any negative feed back on it

I've got the UPR tubular K member w/ coil overs in my car, no issues with it. Looks great and makes working on the car from the bottom so much easier!

Im glad to hear that. I havnt found anybody who has done it to a 2.3 car. Everyone has a 5.0 that i have talked to with the tubular members. Im hoping the whole kit will lighten the front about 50lbs or so. Do you drag your car or just drive it? im wondering how good the spring rate is with the coil overs

I haven't been to the drag strip in it yet, still probably won't for a while now either.... I'm not sure on the spring rates... I really can't compare it to anything else 4cyl, or even fox body for that matter... so in summary, I'm not much help at all!

You'll be amazed. Its way more than 50lbs. The factory kmember is an awkward heavy mess and I put the tube kmember, control arms, struts, spindles, and complete brake assembly all under the black car as one unit.
As for figuring out a spring rate. The correct way is to put some kind of spring in it, set the height where you want it to be and then weigh the car on individual wheels scales. From there you can decide what you want. The black car has a 14" 115lb spring. The nose is pretty light so it works but I preferred a touch stiffer. Everything else was on backorder everywhere at that time.
