I found the problem... I did not secure the BOV well enough and after last night's "spirited" driving I guess the thing worked it's way off the rubber and fell... I found it in the end of the driveway, I think it must have been dragging down the road for about a mile hanging on by the vacuum hose. Close call. That would probably have been one of the last thing's I looked for! Pulled the spark plugs and replaced with Motorcraft, set gap at .028 and it runs fine now!

More of an embarassing story than good, for me at least!
I drove it about 25 miles round trip today and all was well. Little bit of oil smoke from the engine, I think it's still leaking out the hot side of the turbo.

Yessir. Lake Mary to be exact. I see you are in Orlando. It's nice to see another 2.3T guy around.

Yeah same here!
Is there a machine shop you recommend around here? I've talked to several recently but am getting mixed input from many people on all shops. Just want to know I'm not getting ripped off and that they will do quality work.

Honestly I don't know of any machine shops that I could recommend. Never had a need for one.

But I will point you towards this thread on a local hot rod forum that talks about machine shops. I remember now the Powered By Ford guys. Bought some parts and a lot of nitrous from them a few summers ago. Nice, but like the thread say's, expensive. fuelslizzut.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=101677

suhweet! More Floridians than I thought around here. Almost calls for our own regional dyno day meet. Although I don't think it'd be fair with Matt participating somewhere else...

I dealt with PBF a few years ago when I had a 5.0 and I was disappointed with their personal service. They can be very condecending.
Thats great 75Pinto! Yeah Bob, it is cool to have some fellows in the area. There is another 2.3t guy around here, I think he is in Tampa or Clearwater. I want to say his name is Denz, but I may be mistaken.
