Well, run it where you want to. There is no reason it should want/survive with that much timing though so be aware of that. You may be ok at 15psi but not when you raise it.

no its not advancing towards the atc it is actually the opposite way.... if the spout is unhooked and i set it at 15 degrees... when i plug the spout back in it is sitting at about 20 to 22. if i rev the car a little its going too about 30..... it doesnt ever go towards atc... it just stays behind it.. does that make since

Yes, and that's normal...ATC (After Top Dead Center) means it would be firing after the piston is moving down...not what you want.
Before top dead center is "advanced" because it is firing before the piston reaches the top of the cylinder. The earlier it fires, the more advanced it is.
That's why the stock timing marks go to 30 on the "advanced" BTC side and only to 10 on the ATC side...the ATC side isn't useful.

do you think it has something to do with the cam thats in it? i remember looking thru some of the other posts where you and i have talked youve said that the cam is probably too big but i just cant imagine why it run like that and not the other way.... thats why im so confused ya know.... im not stupid i just dont get how it is running that advanced but yet the car has power.....what would the chances be of you looking at it......im sure its not your kind of thing but maybe youd see something i dont. i also have a piece for a timing cover that belongs to you... i got when i bought the motor from josh, he forgot too take it off when i loaded it in the back of my car

i got home tonight and played with the car awhile too see if i could get it closer to the goal..... with that being said ive got the timing at 20 deg... thats about as far as i can go...18 just wont do it maybe after some more mods are done and stuff like that but right now thats as close as i can get..... the car still has the same power too so im glad too see that some more tinkering got me too where i want to be....... next mod will be too install my 65mm tb and port the upper a little so the tb doesnt have any restrictions

Wait, so you're adding more and more timing thinking it's getting closer to "right" when I said you were running too much timing before? You need to pull the spout, set the timing to 10 degrees BTDC, then put the spout back in and you're done...no 14 degrees, no 18 degrees, no 20 degrees. I look at/work on local cars from time to time, there just aren't that many of them around. If you want me to look at it I can, be aware you'll be doing most of the wrenching though unless you want to pay the hourly rate

Timing is not set with the spout plugged in, it's set with the spout (advance) removed. Set it to 10 spout out. It doesn't matter what it reads when you plug the spout back in, as long as it changes to something above 10.
Address is on the "Contact Us" section of our site...near Johnson Drive and K-7 in Shawnee.

spout out the timing is set at 10...... what are my options now for some more power...... the bosst doesnt start building till around 3,500... which is prolly the cam and thats fine.... can i move the factory vacuum hose from where it is that runs the wastegate too somewhere else and start too turn the manual controller up?

What kind of manual controller do you have? Does it have a ball and spring inside?
There shouldn't be any reason to move the vacuum lines around (though I don't know how they are hooked up now). You should just need to turn the knob on the boost controller to raise/lower boost.

Is it a stock turbo? T3 or IHI?
Any pics of the vacuum lines in question and what you want to do with them?
