Until I get the extra dough for a sump im just going to make sure to have at least 3/4 tank of gas at the track.
Found out yesterday the clutch is wore out. Instead of buying a new one I'm going with a case fill C4 w/trans brake and 3500 stall.

Update: Raced a Syclone (awd 4.3 turbo) last night. He had me by 4 cars at the 60ft, and I was 1 car behind at the 1/4 mile mark. He said his truck runs 8.1-8.2's in the eighth and 13.0-12.9 in the 1/4.
I was running 15psi with a decent tune (high 10 afr's). Just really trying to get the car to where I could go full throttle safely, and not burn the clutch completely up. Im going to spend some more time today getting the 15psi tune dialed in. I may be taking the car to 1/4 mile track next Sunday.
The syclone has these mods: Bigger water to air intercooler, boost controller, msd ignition, built trans, k&n cold air kit, and not sure on exhaust. All this = 1.7 60ft's on the street, track, or mud ha...

60 feet by itself is slightly less than 4 cars. I'm sure he jumped out there though. They leave really nice. when you say get to full throttle and not burn up the clutch you mean slipping it to get moving?

Im not slipping it to get it moving. I hold the clutch pedal in just enough so it doesn't engage (rpm around 5k for the street) then dump the clutch and go full throttle at the same time. I mean if I turn the boost up anymore the clutch starts to slip on 3rd gear pulls, so I just kept the boost down until I get a new clutch or do the c4 swap. Thats why I just ran low boost.

Well I found the limits of the worn out clutch today at the track. My best pass was a 14.5 @97 with a 2.5 60ft... I was pedaling it all the way down the track, clutch is toast...
Would the stage 5 clutch be a good idea?

A stg 3+ would last longer and hold only a little less power while being more "streetable". Either one will work though.

Just thought I would fill in what happened to this...
Okay long story short:
Finally got the car up and running great with the only issue being boost control. The car actually ran pretty strong at only 15psi on an ebay t3/t4 turbo. Problem is that it would boost creep in the top of 3rd gear and all of 4th gear. I only had the wot VE tables tuned for 15psi, so when it boost creeps past 15psi the A/F ratio immediately goes from 11.8 to 10.0 ( set this way to keep from burning a piston up ).
In the video below you can see this exact scenario happen when I race mustangracer11's Lightning.
So after that stage of the build I decided to go with a tubular header, bigger turbo, and external wastegate. I got all of that put on the car and broke the number 4 piston on the second shake down pass. The piston actually mechanically broke, it was not caused by detonation ( most likely due to them have over 270000 miles on them lol ).
So after that I parted the entire car out and sold the roller.
Well my overall goal was to get the car into the high 11's in the 1/4 using the stock motor and high 10's with some nitrous, which was never achieved obviously.
I have recently found out that the roller is still fully intact and obtainable. If the funds become available, Turbo tbird version 2.0 will be on its way.
