Old vid but new upload. Its a full version of the old in car vid that stopped working on stingers youtube. Vid was Dec 2006 and 11.80@118. Ran a best of 11.27@118 the same day with the old stock long block, stinger header, hx35 at 18psi and a 70shot.

It's not working for me. I watched one of my own videos just to double check on Youtube and this comp. No sound when I click the link!

what rear gear does this car have in it in this video? My car has a 3.55's. It runs strong, but i cant help but wonder how much 3.73's or 4.10's would help it. It has the 4 cyl t5. I had a 2.3t ranger with the same trans and 3.73s and 1st gear was pretty usless on the street

It had 3.73s and 4 cyl trans for this vid. I do run a 28" tall tire though which helps a little. My daily driver is the same gearing but on a 245/45/17 and I'm very happy with it. DD sees 370 miles a week right now but it will go up soon. lol
I see why there's an issue with the sound. For whatever reason my old converter would drop the sound on one side. When I use headphones a bunch of those vids have sound on left only.

Matt, if that was the stock 4 cyl transmition, why change it for something different? That was amazing!

Yeah completely stock. I honestly dont think I got anywhere close to the hp limit with what I had. I'd bet it would've gone a bunch faster. It did however stay on the ragged edge of what the clutches could hold. This was before the V8 swaps were getting going. I promise I switched to something that was worth it.

What kind of time do you think you might run with your new set up?.................................I can only dream that one day mine might run half that good.

Agh dont say that. Its the same parts as everyone and I've just made a pile of track passes and thousands of hard 1/4 passes on the street. My daily driver is seeing a few hundred miles every week and I make 4 1/4 pulls everyday. lol You and anyone else can do it. We dont want to get too excited and stick feet in mouths but the "hope" is that real soon we can edit the "10sec" pass part.

It's gonna be awesome to see after its finished. The engine compartment looks great! I'm sure the slips will look equally as good. I can't wait to see some new videos of it dipping into the 9's. By the way I'm talking about your car not mine.
