Was wondering if the Pimp waiting list is actually a year out?? If it is I dont think I can wait that long . I've already been without the car for a year. Its all put back together except for the ecm now. If I need to get a megasquirt then thats what I'll do. Really didn't want to rewire the car again thats why I chose the Pimp. I just can't wait another year.

It's actually closer to 10 months as the first 15 or so on the list have already had one or two chances to purchase a PiMP and didn't come through. Production is ramping up though so it shouldn't actually be 10 months. There are also provisions listed in the original post for those who are in dire need to move up the list.

wow, thats quite a demand. i have other things that i can work on but if the chance arises, i have cash in hand now from my taxes.

I dont really want to take anyones spot on the list. Everyone else has been waiting as well. I'll keep my eye on the list for little while longer and see how things move. I've already had the harness out of the car twice dont want to do it again. I'll hang tight for awhile

I really wouldn't look at it as taking some one else's spot. A sizable percentage of people aren't taking them when they are offered. Other people admit their project is not near completion.
If you have a genuine urgent need, Stinger will do his best to accomodate within ethical limits of what is fair. As has been mentioned, we are trying to ratchet up production some what, so don't give up on it based on length of list, unless you need to be running in a couple of months or less.

I dont want to sound like I am giving up on the Pimp. It was my fault for not looking at the list before hand. I was planning on attending some local car shows this summer. I figured the car would be running by then. I'm going to try to convert it to mass air and see if it will atleast run around town. I will try that this weekend and go from there. I did a lot of research before choosing the Pimp. I really dont want to run anything else

I understand the wait is much longer than anyone would like. As stated, those with complete projects that are only lacking an ecu (and have too many mods for the stock stuff to run them) have the opportunity to move up the list (but only if we are made aware of this situation).

hey put me in for a pimp and a set of 95 lbs injectors. i got money and need as soon so possible and will pay extra if i can to get it sooner. i got a 88 tbird turbo coupe currently torn down to block and installing head bo port intakes, 65 mm tbody , stringer header, t3/t4 turbo , huge front mount. all i need is a pimp to get it right.

Hey Stinger, I tried sending you a PM through TF and on here and I couldn't get either one of them to work. I just wanted to be added to the list. It will be quite a while, there is no way to know exactly when but it's certainly 6 months or better unless things change significantly.
