How do I save the tune that is in the MS2 currently? I need to put in my updated tune, but would like to keep the original because the car runs with it.
When I was modifying the original, I accidently hit "save" instead of "save as".

Connect to the MS and hit "save as." Tunerstudio also saves the last file that was online as "currenttune."
It is VERY important before you embark on any tuning project to keep track of what you change, and save everything as a unique file name. While sometimes tiresome, this will save you time in the long run (and possibly more). I am curious how you updated a tune without knowing how to save one.

I didn't put the new tune into the MS2 yet. I just edited the Ve table, ignition table, gauge settings (changed from celcious to Fahrenheit), and injector settings in tunner studios offline. The base tune is in the MS2 and the car runs with it. If for some reason my edited one messes something up I will have a back up. If you have any more tips for me I would be very grateful. I am new to all this computer stuff. Thank you for your help.
Now that I think about it, I had to have done what you said already or I wouldn't have had any thing to start tunning from (in T.S.) in the first place.

You had something to start tuning with because we provided the base tune and you had to load it via TS into the PiMP and by doing that, it saves it in TS.
What did you change about the ignition table? How did you decide what to do to the VE table while offline?

I'm not using the pimp, I'm using a diffrent ms2. I used yalls tables from the sticky threads to get my car closer to being driveable. You said that those are better than what comes in the one I have. It is running now with the edited tune, but still not starting real easy. I will play around with the start up functions to see if I can make it start easier but any tips would be greatly appreciated.
