Lucas 42.5lbs high Z . This is what the web site said. I haven't checked the injectors to verify but I will try to do so some time this weekend.

With injectors that small, unless it is off by a mile it really should not be that sensitive to it. I would just call it 1.0 with the standard .1ms/v correction.
In your thread in the PiMP section, you mentioned fluctuating AFR's. If PW doesn't change much during these fluctuations, they either aren't real, or you have a FP problem.

I will check the fuel pressure and get back to you about that. I am almost positive it is set at 1.0 already. I will do some investigating to make sure every thing is set up correctly.
Thanks Curtis

Be aware that a poorly tuned idle area of the Fuel/VE table will cause fluctuating AFR's.

Target afr at idle is 14.7 ? Just curious, what determines the opening length? On the PiMP section, some of yalls injectors are rated at .7 while others are .9

The target AFR of 14.7 is only used with tuning via VE Live or when you have the wideband reading affecting the AFR in real time. A good target AFR and a poorly tuned fuel table = poor idle characteristics.
The opening time is a physical characteristic of each injector design. It takes "x" milliseconds to go from closed to open.

Is this something I should contact Lucas to find out some of their characteristics or just play with it until it the opening time is correct? Wes said to run it at .1 , if I start messing with it should I go up or down

Wes said 1.0, not .1. Big difference there. Wes stated how to dial in the opening time in the other thread if you don't think his original suggestion is correct.

I accidently put the decimal in the wrong place. I would be crazy to think he wasn't correct, I only asked because I didn't remember at the time how he suggested to dial it in. I am so ridiculously busy trying to get work and home stuff caught up, I am letting things slip my memory on the car. With yalls help it is getting there though.

For an explanation of the way I generated the offset/deadtime (calling it open time is a bit missleading) can be found here: www.msextra.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=131&t=41357
