It's a wideband which can't be next to the turbo or it will overheat.

Noted,
How far from turbo should it be?
I bought LC-1 but haven't read yet, guessing it's probably in there as well?

Yes, Innovate gives their spec (18+ inches from the turbo outlet I believe). I just put them where they fit best that's beyond the spec.

I had an LC-1 and put it in the stock location and it would over heat and throw error codes all the time. I would definitely make sure you put it down stream a bit.

You sent me some links to heat sinks etc for the 02 bungs. Would you recommend me to just add a bung farther away or can I get away with that.
Any pics of it installed ?

Heat sinks are a band-aid fix, properly locating the sensor is the proper way to do it.
No pics of it installed.

Aaa ok guess I'll have to drill a hole. Guess I'm not the only person who hear wraped the down pipe.

I've got mine wrapped as well. Thinking about wrapping the header too, I just don't want to have to take it off!

FYI the pic I posted isn't my downpipe, mine isn't wrapped.
Bob I'd suggest not wrapping the header...stainless holds in the heat pretty well on it's own (much better than steel) but won't hold up to the extra heat the wrap will hold in.

10-4, thanks for the heads up! Is it still safe to have the down pipe wrapped?

Yes, though it will shorten its life since it holds moisture against it when it's not running.

If its iron based don't wrap it. If its stainless it wount hurt. The wrap wount let it cool down as quick, but it wount make it hotter. ie if u melt ur header u where going to melt it if or if not it was wraped. Also if u wana to make ur header last longer , Cut the flamg that bolts to the head ie. cut between the pipes and make the header bolt holes bigger as u move to the ends. . I went to school for metal heat wount weaken metal only stronger true it become harden and can crack cause of that . Take a file and smash it it will shatter.
