Paint will effect how the cooler works since it's putting an additional barrier between the air and the oil.

So the co owner works with a bunch of old school drag guys and there telling him where we mounted the oil cooler is going to cause problems....
We just used a oil filter relocation kit so it's being feed from the stock oil filter area....
So stinger and any one else wanna chim in?

More or less it was too high and was going to cause problems with oil flow. I just figured it didn't matter if I was between the head and oil pan it's not the highest point or lowest.

It's under pressure and no higher than the head so I don't see how that would be an issue. Could be wrong though.

I know this is kinda odd but is there any thing I need to know about the 84 harness my car has? It's in great shaPe. I was reading another thread and It was said some thing to the effect of a 87 up harness for mustangs is a good harness to work with...
I plan to run a pimp/ms unit.

Your harness is fine for PiMP use (as is any other turbo harness). The 87-90 harness is for those who don't have a harness or have harness issues.
