This is a chart showing pinouts for all factory 2.3T cars, as well as what it takes to swap from a P series (83-86) to L series (87-88 TC) ECU. Also need to make sure you have brown top injectors (35lb) and the big VAM (3" in/out). rothfam.com/svo/reference/PEtoLA.pdf

I'm making my own harness for my PiMP ecu is there a diagram of the pinout or is it the same for the factory ecu?

Yes, there is one posted in the FAQ of the PiMP section of the forum. There is also a pre-made new harness available for the PiMP.

I cant get the link to open im tryin to figure out wat i got to change on the pinout to put a la3 in my 85 tc thanks

The link works. It's a PDF file. This means you need to have adobe reader installed (in which case you'd right click & save as so you can then open the downloaded file in adobe reader), or you can just click the link and open it in any modern web browser that's been updated in the last year (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer).
