I decided to take out the interior of my car and the only thing left really is the center console. If I unhook the fuel switch what happens? Will the computer setting stay on the last setting the switch was in? Example: my switch was in the premuim fuel position, and I unhooked it... Will the computer still recognize that I'm running premium and not retard timing in some kind of a "safety mode"?
Thanks!

Grounding the ecu pin gives you premium, unground it and you get regular mode.

So if it's unpluged which pin would I pick to ground? I don't remember what the plug looks like right off hand... Thanks

Grounding the wire that is attached to the switch might be easier...otherwise according to this link: rothfam.com/svo/reference/PEtoLA.pdf it is pin 30 for an SVO ecu or pin 24 for an 87-88 TC ecu. "T" into pin 46 to ground it.

More aggressive timing map, raises boost (when using the stock boost control solenoid which not many people do).
