]April 2016 I began my journey after 1 yr of planning to mod motor swap my 1987 thunderbird turbo coupe. So far to date I have used almost every piece I can from a donor 2002 mustang gt 5spd. I have used the dash and center console, hvac, clutch pedals, hydro boost, abs module and brake lines and brakes, fuel lines, evap canister and lines, complete vehicle harness including air bags. Hmm, interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about doing this with a 2v motor since they are dogs compared to the 3v and 4v versions but I like the interior swap.

They are dogs (4.6 2v) my 97 f 150 popped a head gasket and ive been looking at other parts to throw in the pi head swap build and it looks like a bunch of money for min hp/tq gains

To reply to the “they are dogs” comment.... i have been driving the car now for 2 years now and absolutely enjoyed every moment. The car is far from a dog. Purchasing a donor car for $1200 and putting another $1000 in upgrades to it has made it truly enjoyable. Don’t compare a truck weighing in at 5000 lbs to a 3200 lb car. Especially a non pi truck engine. It takes a lot of money to make a 2.3 get another 100hp. If you want to learn ask. If you want to dig up an old thread to only make a disrespectful comment than you did a good job. Keep an open mind and a shut mouth is a much better option.
