Just a quick question.
I have gone through and turned my stock 3 wire O2 harness plug into a 4 wire plug (thanks to a donor harness) and have wired that extra lead to the battery ground location.
This has allowed me to take another donor component (a 4 wire male plug from a donor 88TC harness) and connect the Spartan directly into the stock harness. So: red, black, green, and white are feeding/being fed from the engine harness. That being said, is it still necessary to install the inline fuse somewhere along the 12v line or is that 12v wire fused and is it enough for the Spartan?
I have just run a Ron Francis harness, so I am not positive if that 12v source is protected with a fuse or not. Like a dummy, I forgot to trace it before I got everything wrapped up and looking nice. I just know that the RF harness has a really nice stand-alone fuse/relay "center".
Thank in advance for your help!

I'm not positive how the RF 02 wiring is routed either so I can't say definitively if it's fused or not. You may contact them about it if you don't want to check continuity from that wire to the fuses.
It does need to be fused somehow whether it's through the RF harness (if it's fused) or with the included fuse.

First, I'd like to ask: what is the best way to add photos to the forum so that they don't wind up like all of the Photobucket photo links that have recently been destroyed by Photobucket's recent desire to make more money? I have pics of the relay/fuse center that is like to share. I am also thinking about doing a little write-up of my RF harness journey with pics and would like them to remain part of the forum regardless of where they are hosted.
Now on to my reply: the O2 12v runs to/from a relay (R1) and that is supplied from a 20a fused source (and it looks like the only thing on that circuit). So Battery--> 20a fuse--> relay--> O2 sensor. That fuse should still do the trick for protecting the circuit even though it is before the relay, correct?

They have to be posted somewhere that allows hotlinking and are viewable to the public. Many people are now using their google drive/photos accounts to host them, or social media (facebook, instagram, twitter, etc.).
Yes, as long as it's fused somewhere between the power source and the item you're trying to protect, you're good.
