That's certainly true for the 86 and older cars with the old style insulation that falls off. After that the insulation improved and the harness may or may not be problematic depending on condition and what previous owners did to it.

I just sent my order in for a PiMP the day before these came out. I am excited to pick up one of these set ups. My only concern is that i purchased the expansion port plug and harness already, this would completely replace that and still have all of the extra wires correct? If that is the case, I will have an expansion port harness up for sale.

You can trade in/return the expansion harness towards the purchase of the CAS harness.

You can trade in/return the expansion harness towards the purchase of the CAS harness. Awesome, I will be doing that in the next month or so here. The PiMP just came in today, I will keep the expansion harness in the package.

Yeah, they are famous for that.
Whether you choose to use LS coils or the IGN-1A coils we'll soon be selling, they both come from OEM applications so they are extremely reliable. Even in a worse case you lose a single coil and it can still drive home if you just unplug that injector so it doesn't wash down that cylinder. When an MSD dies you're dead unless you've got it wired in a way where you can bypass it when it dies.

I see my PIMPXS and goodies were shipped yesterday. How long till you sell the entire COP package. Coil, brackets, harness etc.

The coils will be in stock by early next week. We're prototyping the coil harness to plug into the expansion harness next week once those connectors arrive, then we'll have to send that info to our harness builder so they can do a batch of them.
The brackets are already available as we won't be doing them in-house, we'll be selling another company's brackets. So they aren't available from us yet but they are available.

How far away are you from releasing your coil harness and coils for sale? Im 2 weeks away from swinging in my first Pimpxs SBF and I figure I may as well wait till I can go CAS and COP too.
