Hey guys,
I just installed an SN95 throttle body in my SVO and have a new problem. I am running an 88 TC valve cover and the IAC is now preventing the valve cover breather on the back of the cover from being installed. I am sure there are others who have done this swap that have run into this problem, but I could not find any previous threads about it. Is there an alternative part I can install or a modification I can make to get it to fit and be functional?
Thanks!

What happens if you flip the IAC and install it backwards?

I scoped that out and thought of that, but what I surveyed was that the body of IAC is the issue. I am running the BigRMotorsports adapter plate, which I am sure is causing the problem. I believe that if I didn't have the extra length that the two plates add, flipping the IAC would definitely solve the problem.

Yeah, I never used an adapter, I just slot the holes in the throttle body so I don't have direct experience with that setup. Have you emailed BigR and asked what they do about it?

Thanks a bunch for suggesting that I talk to BigR. I don't know why I didn't think to reach out to him.
He replied back really quickly with a suggestion to use a breather from an 88 Tempo (he said it is what he uses on his car). AutoZone's part number is BF3412DL and I picked up the part this afternoon for $5.99 and it fits perfectly. As far as function, I am not sure just yet, but I believe it will get the job done. Thanks for the help!
