I'm getting ready to order some upgrades. Car is a 1986 tc. Currently I have the pimpx, header, and max effort intake. My upper is rotated and I will be getting a fmic with the upgrades. The plans I have are a fmic, upgraded injectors, and exhaust with large downpipe. My question is, if in the future I have plans for some cylinder head mods and a larger turbo, is there an injector size that is recommended that will be borderline too large now but ok after cam and port work? Will the factory fuel pump and lines flow enough now? Also if there are other things that I am overlooking I'm up for suggestions.

Our Siemens 80's are as large as we suggest going with a batch fire system and they support about 450whp so that should do just fine for you.
The stock lines are fine with these injectors. The stock pump is probably OK for now if it's in good condition but it will certainly run out of flow before the injectors or other mods.

Ok so the stock fuel rail is also ok?

For that power level on gasoline, yes.

One more question. When the time comes for larger fuel pump, can I just install the higher volume pump on my existing hanger? And will the setup I am describing support a good flowing head and large cam down the road?

Did 86 TC's have an in-tank pump or an inline pump? Not sure if they switched in 87 or if it was before that. If internal, it will accept the same fuel pumps as fox body Mustangs (stock is not an upgrade, you'd need a Walbro 255 lph high pressure pump.
If external, you'd need an inline Walbro 255lph HP pump, or to convert to in-tank.

My 86 did come with an in tank pump. I actually just put an oe replacement in it. I wish that I had of thought ahead and upgraded then.

Yeah, the bigger pumps are no more expensive, sometimes they are cheaper.

I placed my order. I wanted a quarter glass sticker that said we are so good we only brought half an engine. If you have the ability to do that can you add one to the order?

The text will be really small if it's supposed to fit in the quarter glass. Two lines would make it a little better but it's still likely going to be under 1" high. If that's what you want, give me the 1/4 window dimensions of the area you want it to fit in and I'll see what I can do.

The quarter window is 11.5 inches at bottom and tapers to about 8 inches at top. I've already got a pimp sticker on the rh lower of back glass but if it would work better I can put the sticker on the lh lower of the back glass.

Ultimately it can be made to fit into whatever sized area you want it in. The default size is what's shown in the pic you saw (bottom of rear glass).
If you want it in the quarter window but there is already a PiMP sticker in that area, that complicates the process since it cuts down on the available space and you didn't provide dimensions for the available space.
If you want it on the rear glass, I'd need to know how long you want it and height will adjust proportionally to that length.

Just make it to fit the quarter glass. The pimp sticker is on the back glass. Max length 11 inches.
