Hi Shannon. I'm planning to locate the Pimp under the Pinto's passenger seat, and based on other choices I've made in locating components, I'm forced to mount the vacuum manifold towards the front of the engine compartment. Unfortunately, the supplied MAP hose is about 12" too short when I route it this way. What is my best course of action?
1) Attempt to tee into the hose from the FPR to the upper intake manifold fitting 2) Purchase an extra foot of the special MAP hose, and use a 1/8" vacuum tubing connector to extend the hose to the length I need 3) Purchase a single, 7 foot length of the MAP hose
Thanks in advance! -Steve

I'm not a fan of connecting other things to the FPR line but if stuff gets connected there, it needs to be stuff that is sealed (like a MAP) so there is no actual flow through the line that could change the signal the FPR is seeing.
A 10' section of hose is like $10 on our site, hard to beat that option.

Thanks for the input! The hose arrived Wednesday, and is already installed. Cheers!
