Looks good...the big question is, does it no longer blow oil?

Can't say I was really having an issue with the current set up, I installed it in preparation of more power.
Since we were building the car from the ground up, I figured this was a good addition.

I talked to esslinger about this in preparation for my new build I am working on and they suggested running the block vent into the valve cover and enlarging the hole coming out of the valve cover and running 1 line to the catch can.... said it tends to keep more oil in the engine that way instead of blowing it in the catch can... does this sound like a good idea?

That info only applies if you're not running the stock block oil separator. This system uses the stock separator so their info isn't required.

The part number for the fitting that screws into the catch can from house of hose is not showing up as an accurate part number on their site. I have been trying to find it for a while now. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I made the mistake of trying to make a mod. version of this and eliminated the dipstick blowing out on the SVO but created (in my opinion) a worse problem. Now the pressure is building up in the can and blowing out the top. ordering the piece that screws on the can today. Went to HD looking for the grey elbow adapter with no luck. Where do you get it? looks like it adapts to a larger size. Just trying to get all of the specs so I don't have to go back and redo it all again. Looks like you have the factory hose coming out of the block separator, then an elbow adaptor for a larger hose, then an even bigger hose going to the can itself.

I got all my grey connectors and hose out of the plumbing section at my local Menards. I think it was from the underground sprinkler systems.

I spotted the grey fittings and clear hose at the True Value near Bonner Springs Ford the other day...probably carried by all True Value stores.

I got a issue with some big oil leaks and before I address the gaskets I wanted to try running the catch can first and see if it fixed the issue. I wanted to know about "venting" the valve cover??? Im lost isnt the 2.3t stock vented with the black cylinder looking thing? Should I vent the valve cover first and then if that doesnt work try to run a catch can?

The "vent" in the valve cover is 1/4" ID which doesn't flow enough on it's own to vent the crankcase under boost. You also don't want to try to vent entirely out of the valve cover as that means quite a bit of air will be flowing up through the oil drain holes in the head which "could" obstruct oil flow out of the valve cover area.

So are you saying some guys run a filter on the valve cover? And block off the hose that used to go to the breather? Wondering if I should try this before I go with a catch can for the time being...
