This is my first time tuning MS. This engine is a 351 with about 10" vacuum at idle. I started with a 5.0l base tune and i think I have the VE table ok at idle and cruise. It is rich at or near WOT and i haven't paid much attention there yet.
The problem I am having is when accelerating at light throttle it goes rich when shifting and has a stumble. I have adjusted the TPS based AE and it is better. The free rev throttle response is great. Any suggestions? I may try to add some MAP AE and see if that helps. Thanks in advance

I just realized the TPS AE added is ms of pulse width. I dont know why but i thought it was % and i didn't take it lower than 1.2. I have been studying the log and see PW going to 4ms at th shifts. i will make some adjustments.
Still give your thoughts, please.

For longer logs it helps to "mark" the logs by hitting the spacebar near where the problem is happening. That makes it easy to find the places you're referring to.
You may find it beneficial to switch squirts per cycle from 4 alternating to 2 alternating as you've got pretty large injectors for 4 pulses.
You should turn on over run fuel cut at some point and configure it so it's working as it prevents decel backfiring and saves fuel.
If you look at TPSdot and MAPdot and such and your status bits in your logs then you can see what's being activated at the times it's happening and what thresholds are appropriate for your setup. Your Time-Based AE settings are so much different than our base tune settings that it appears DIY uses a different strategy than we do.

Thanks for the advice. I was not aware of the space bar marker. That will be a big help. I will try the changing the number of squirts too. Thanks again.
