The car already had dual exhaust with small tail pipes so I started the mockup of the Stinger 3" single exhaust kit on my 87 Turbo Coupe and I really like it. I might have to cut one of the bends from the tail pipe to get it to fit like a stock tail pipe which is no biggie.
This exhaust is a piece of cake to install and I couldn't wait to hear what it sounded like even with no pipe clamps so I fired her up and it sounds great with the Magna Flow muffler ! I thought the muffler would be louder cause you look in one hole and see daylight in the other.
I should be done with it tomorrow and ready for a test ride and the results should be great compared to looking at the old exhaust and seeing a big restriction in the Y pipe.

Good to hear it's installing well. Some trimming on the y-pipe ends and tailpipe ends is expected as we leave them a little long to account for various muffler sizes.

Thanks Shannon ! looks like I'll need to trim the pipe going over the rear end about an inch where it goes into the muffler for a little more clearance at the fuel tank.
This 3" system really helped my boost, now at 4K I'm at 20 psi and 4.4K I'm at 25 psi.

Yeah, they spool way quicker with free flowing exhaust.
